Nashua Country Club – 2021-2022 Curling Season
Internal COVID-19 Policy and Procedures
This document describes policies and procedures for the 2021-2022 curling season at the Nashua Country Club in response to the ongoing worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.  These policies and procedures are being enacted in order to create an environment that maximizes the enjoyment of the sport of curling, while balancing that with minimizing the spread of the Covid-19 virus and thus maintaining the health and safety of our fellow NCC members and staff.
These policies and procedures are subject to change as new information becomes available, and as federal, state, and local health authorities issue recommendations or requirements.

COVID-19 Vaccination Standard

  • NCC curlers are HIGHLY recommended to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Fully vaccinated status is defined as at least 14 days after the final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson).

Mask Policy

  • If you are unvaccinated for any reason, it is HIGHLY recommended that you wear a mask when present on the ice.

  • Anyone is permitted to wear a face mask on the premises at any time without bias or presumption of COVID-19 vaccination status.

  • If wearing a face covering, it must cover both the nose and mouth completely, and must fit properly.

General Health and Reporting

  • It goes without saying that if an individual is sick, or has any flu-like symptoms, they SHOULD NOT come to NCC or the Sports Center.

  • If an individual is exposed to someone whom has tested positive for Covid-19, or tests positive themselves, they should report that incident to the league chair, event coordinator, or NCC curling committee ASAP.

  • If you test positive for Covid-19, local public health authorities make the final decisions about how long quarantine should last.  Follow the recommendations of your local public health department if you need to quarantine.   Currently,

    • After day 10 without testing

    • After day 7 after receiving a negative test result (test must occur on day 5 or later)
